Food Frenzy: Double Points for 1st Drop

You may have noticed that scores were not updated Saturday for the Food Frenzy…that’s because they did not change.  If your small group had made a drop off at the Minick’s for West Side’s Food Pantry, you would be in 1st Place!

So…let’s up the challenge.  Be the FIRST small group to make a drop off  (see Food Frenzy post for rules), and you will receive double points for that donation.  Click here to see the scorecard we will be using.

Food Frenzy: It’s time to bring it

All West Side small groups have been asked to participate in a five-week food drive from September 6th through October 4th to restock the church’s food pantry. p1010924

Just for fun, the YA ministry plans to add some friendly competition. We call it the “Food Frenzy Challenge.”

Our competition will culminate on October 3rd with the YA Serve! event… the “Food Frenzy.”

Be sure to mark your calendar – extra points will be given based on the percentage of your small group that attends the “Frenzy!”  A small group must have a minimum of 50 percent of their group in attendance to claim a prize at the “Frenzy!”

Needed items for the church’s food pantry have been grouped into “kits” and have been assigned a point value.

Basically, the more points, the better the prize (and the bigger the bragging rights).  You can size up the competition through weekly updates on this blog each Saturday.  Let’s show West Side what young adults are made of!
